What is your name and aim?
AJB4 and if you're talking about my aim in the rap game lol. It's to put God first and to keep it real. If you're asking for my aol instant messenger “only the Lord knows"
Where have you from, lived and currently reside? How has growing up in these places effected you and your music?
I was born in Germany because my father was in the military. I've also lived in Korea, Hawaii, Kentuck, Kansas, Pennsylvania, D.C., Georgia, and currently I stay in Chattanooga, TN. Growing up all over the world has given me the ability to get along with almost anybody and to know that the world is bigger than my life. I feel like you can hear this in my music. I also will make references based on the places I lived. For example the song I have called Spam Musubi is based on this meal I had for school lunch in Hawaii.
If you could name one album which really inspired you and had an impact on your life what would it be and why?
Winans Phase 2 – We Got Next
This album showed me I could make music about Jesus with it being current and just good music!
Any interesting run ins with famous rappers or anyone from the industry?
Hmmm not really I got to meet 50 Cent recently along with Tony Yayo and Young Buck but it was just as a fan. It was a last minute thing to so that made it really cool. I was a big G-Unit fan when I was younger so meeting them in person was surreal.
What are your current and future plans with your music?
Right now I'm planning on dropping a 5 song EP. This will be a return to the sound my fans are more used to hearing from me before I dropped “Organic Growth”. After the EP I'm going to release another album. Other than that I want to keep expanding and building.
What was the weirdest feedback on a track you have received?
Probably when someone told me that they liked the song but not the religious references. Never made sense to me.
What is your favourite song you have created?
Very hard question. I wanna say “Leave My Mind” I made the song coming out of a difficult break up and getting kicked out. I still wasn't over the girl that broke up with me. But the song just came so natural to me. I enjoyed myself so much making this song that I think I was late to class. But every one liked the song including one of my favorite rappers Charles Hamilton. He commented on the song on Facebook. It was awesome.
